An intensive care unit (ICU), also known as an intensive therapy unit or intensive treatment unit (ITU) or critical care unit (CCU), is a special department of a hospital or health care facility that provides intensive treatment medicine.

In the Critical Care Department, 24×7 care is provided to those patients who require life support system and other intensive medical measures in potentially endangered situations. Patients are admitted to a critical care unit (CCU) with the failure of one or more organ systems like heart, pulmonary, neurology, liver and kidney failure. Our experienced multipurpose team provides state-of-the-art patient care with urgency and compassion. The team consists of trained, skilled and professional staff in important care therapy.
The Critical Care Department is operated in the supervision of senior physician and ICU expert Dr. Sujit Singh. Their services are available 24×7.
Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art life saving machines. Ventilator, Defibrillator, CPAP, BPAP, Dialysis Facility, ABG machine and multi parameter monitor are available.

Patients may be transferred directly to an intensive care unit from an emergency department if required, or from a ward if they rapidly deteriorate, or immediately after surgery if the surgery is very invasive and the patient is at high risk of complications.
